Spring table runner

This spring table runner was inspired by a recent trip to Ikea.  Since I wanted the stripes to run lengthwise, I needed to buy 1 1/2 yards.  There was enough fabric to make 3 runners.  The total cost for this project - $12.55, or $4.18 each.  Who doesn't love that price?
