Independence Day quilt progress

The Independence Day quilt has been quilted for some time now, but there has been no chance to bind it.

This is the back. Partly I backed it this way because I ran out of fabric, and used scraps to "make it work" without having to buy any more. Tim likes the back best.

The binding is continuous, double fold, and cut on the cross grain. The strips are cut 2.5" wide to begin with, then ironed in half. All ready to be sewn onto the quilt.
