Old shorts, New elastic

Who doesn't hate mending. It's probably the worst part of sewing. It's a little more tolerable if you unpick while sitting at the park, or watching TV. The sewing part is usually fast and a little more fun.

These shorts used to be Rebekah's. She wore them to death, and they wore like iron, so I saved them. They fit Ruth now, but the elastic was shot. You could hear it breaking as you stretch the waistband. So, out with the old and in with the new.
