Dress progress
5:00 p.m. and the skirt and skirt lining are cut, sewn together, ironed, gathered, and attached to the bodice. Rebekah will be so excited to see it when she gets home. One more fitting before I put in the invisible zipper and hem it.In the beginning, I assumed that she wanted a light blue satin ribbon for the waist tie, but she has since mentioned a royal or navy blue ribbon. What do you think?
Royal blue would look really pretty and make her torso look really long, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteWhen I think "girls in white dress with blue satin sashes" I always think baby blue, but Rebekah says royal, and Judy says royal too. Thats three against 1 so far.
